Dirty air is sucked into the bag where most particles get trapped. Filtered air then naturally follows the ribs of the basket to the out take channel where the air is filtered one more time before being dispersed. The effect ensures continuous, uninterrupted airflow and improved dust pick-up. The air basket is quite a model of practicality. When the bag is full, the basket does double duty as cleaner and more hygenic way of disposal. Simply remove the basket, dump the bag, replace with a new one and re-insert.
