The Met Downtown MIPS is a truly modern touring helmet; It’s comfortable and airy design is perfect for trekking and touring, while it’s excellent safety standards and great coverage make it a perfect e-bike helmet. Featuring the MIPS-C2® brain protection system, the Downtown is able to slide relative to the head in the case of a crash, redirecting damaging rotational motion. The MIPS Brain Protection System is integrated inside the helmet, between the washable comfort padding and the EPS liner. The Safe-T Twist 2 Fit System provides quick one-handed adjustments, while the 360° head belt and adjustable cam divider allow for a truly tailored fit. 17 individual vents with wind tunnel honed internal air channeling directs cooling airflow into the helmet, while a ponytail compatible vent and removable visor add wearability. As flexible as your free-time, the Met Downtown MIPS will protect you wherever you feel the urge to roam.
