
Delivery within Waikato and Bay of Plenty
We have showrooms across 8 cities and towns across the Waikato & Bay of Plenty Region:
Van Dyks Living, Van Dyks 100% Home Appliances, Van Dyks BedsRus, Van Dyks Bikes and Van Dyks Flooring Xtra across Hamilton, Cambridge, Matamata, Mount Maunganui, Putaruru, Rotorua, Taupo and Tauriko (Tauranga).
We have our own delivery trucks and teams to service the Waikato & Bay of Plenty regions, including Taupo and Coromandel, for all eligible orders.
For deliveries within ‘metro’ local town areas to our stores, we charge $25.00 per delivery.
For ‘regional’ out of local town deliveries we charge $50.00 per delivery. While our delivery team aim to get your purchases to you within 7-14 working days, please note that certain rural areas and bulky items may experience longer delivery times.
If the item is not in stock, ask in-store for an estimated date of arrival and delivery timeframe.
Shipping excluded items:
Bikes are only shipped within our Waikato and Bay of Plenty zones.
We supply all of our bikes fully assembled and we run a comprehensive quality check on them before you purchase, we can only offer delivery though the Waikato and BOP – however if you are out of this area feel free to call Van Dyks Bikes store and we can discuss your needs +64 7 883 7309.
Delivery outside Waikato and Bay of Plenty
We use a courier service for any nationwide shipping outside the Waikato & Bay of Plenty regions, for all eligible orders.
Delivery timeframes are quotes as a guide only and are solely dependant on the courier’s delivery schedule.
You will receive a tracking number, which will update once the order has been picked up by the courier from our warehouse. Please note that certain rural areas and bulky items may experience longer delivery times. If the item is not in stock, ask in-store for an estimated date of arrival and delivery timeframe.
Click and Collect
Whether you have shopped from the comfort of your home, or visited one of our our showrooms, you can collect your items from any one of our stores located in Hamilton - Te Rapa, Cambridge, Mount Maunganui, Rotorua, Taupo, Tauriko, Matamata or our dispatch warehouse in Putaruru.
For online orders:
- Choose your products, add them to your cart and proceed to check out adding your details.
- Select the Pick-Up Option in the Shipping method (it will say it will be from Putaruru)
- In the Order Comments tell us which store you want to pick up from
- You will receive an email confirmation when your order is ready for pickup.
For Putaruru Collection:
Click and Collect is available from 1-7 Main Street, Putāruru 3411
For Hamilton - Te Rapa, Cambridge, Matamata, Mount Maunganui, Rotorua, Tauriko or Taupo Collection:
We aim to have items to be ready for pickup within 7 business days depending on our delivery teams schedules.
* Please note that collection timeframes may vary depending on product availability and the pickup location.
Removal & Installations
Appliance & Furniture Disposal: We offer a convenient removal service for just $50, exclusively for customers who purchase new furniture or appliances from us.
This service includes disposal of your furniture or appliance, plus for appliances this includes degassing.
Our aim is to take the hassle out of your upgrade. Please note: Due to the potential need to reuse old fittings for safe and proper installation, oven removal cannot be included in this service.
Returns Policy
If, after purchase, you change your mind on your product selection please call our store during business hours:
- If we have not processed your order, then we will happily refund your purchase free of charge.
- If the order has been processed a 10% handling cost will apply.
- If your product has been shipped but is unopened and is still in its original condition, please get in touch via email regarding the return request. Cost of the original shipping and a 10% handling cost will apply if the product is returned.
Important: The product must be unopened, and the packaging must still be in its original condition. If you change your mind after using the product or opening the packaging, we will not be able to return or refund your purchase.
If goods are proven faulty, we will provide a replacement free of charge under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
